About Cabin Crashers
Philip Pietras, 52, admitted to stealing from more than 170 people, many of whom are senior citizens who sought to limit the emotional and financial burdens placed on their loved ones by prepaying for their funerals. But instead of placing those funds, meant for caskets and burial services, in escrow accounts, Pietras pocketed the money to gamble.
Pietras accepted a plea deal from the state, and prosecutors expect him to enter a guilty plea on Oct. 23 and be formally sentenced on Jan. 22, 2027.
Under the terms of the state’s offer, Pietras will admit to stealing his clients’ money for his personal use. In exchange for his admission, the state has recommended a prison sentence of 7.5 years instead of 15 years, followed by five years of probation.

Developers can also move between rapid-response and longer-term projects depending on their interests and where they can contribute most effectively.
But more capacity does not mean Cubeia has eliminated bottlenecks. With AI agents producing several streams of work in parallel, the company is still trying to find the right balance of how much work an individual can manage and review.
βThe bottleneck becomes the person reviewing everything. That does not mean we never review the code itself. For sensitive or critical parts of the system, we still look more closely at the implementation, particularly from an architecture, performance, security and reliability perspective. But we no longer apply that level of manual code review to everything.β Grenstad says.
How to play Cabin Crashers
Grant has maintained that advantage play is not βdishonest or cheatingβ ever since his first legal brush with Star Casino.
However, he may have indeed been able to spot the imperfection in the cards, which is an outcome completely different than what was ruled in the case of Phil Ivey, a popular poker pro who ended up using edge sorting to win millions of dollars, but had to forfeit or repay his winnings in the end.
Grant said, at the time of his own case against Star Casino, that he had noticed cards being asymmetrical, but that he had no way of knowing what the next card on his table would be – just like other players there.
